In January, Streamsong held an inaugural Invitational for PGA Professionals, including many from top clubs across the the United States.
The 19 teams were made up of one PGA Professional and three amateurs playing in a two better balls gross and net competition over both the Blue and Red courses. In addition, net and gross skins were awarded both days.
Golf Genius Software’s Director of U.S. Sales, Nick Wolfe, and Support Manager, Jon Sirois, were on site assisting with the event. “The players loved the live scoring aspect of the event as they were able to see how they matched up to the rest of the field in real time,” says Wolfe. “The staff loved the speed with which they were able to produce reports and make last minute changes. In addition, the website that was created was a huge hit for the players and the staff. Scott was able to deliver all results and photos from the event as well as a personalized thank you to all players within minutes of the completion of the event.”
During this two-day event, PGA Professionals were able to test drive the exact experience that they could provide for golfers in their own member-guests, outings and tournaments, enabling them to not only provide more value to golfers at their facilities, but to generate more revenue.
